Energy Efficiency Extension for OpenCart 3.x

Short Description

This extension allows you to add an energy label for the product, it also adds a datasheet. Energy labels help consumers save money by choosing products that consume less energy.

Installation And Setup

1. Make a backup of store files and database before you install the module (just a healthy habit). Energy_efficiency_module.ocmod.xml

2. Go to admin Extensions -> Extension Installer and upload file Energy_efficiency_module-ocx.x.x_vx.x.x.ocmod.zip.

3. Go to admin Extensions -> Modifications, click on refresh button
4. Go to admin Extensions->Extensions->[Modules]-> Energy label and click "Install".

5. Find "Energy label" and click "Edit".

6. A page will open with a form you need to fill:

   • Status: disabled (if you don't want to use energy label) or enabled (if you want to use energy label);.

   • In the admin panel you can configure where will be displayed the energy label.

7. Save changes by clicking "Save".

8. Go to admin panel Catalog->Products. Select the product to which you would like to add an energy label. Start editing the energy consumption of the selected product. You can also add an image to this product, it will open when you click on the label.

1. If you have attributes for a product you can display them in the datasheet. For this you need to check the checkbox "enable (datasheet)"
2. Save changes by clicking "Save".

1. Enables or disables the module.

2. Enables or disables the photo popup. For this function to work correctly, you need to clear the cache.
3. Enables or disables attribute setting in product edit.
4. Сhanges the name of the link to the datasheet (it is important to set the names before using the extension)
5. Changes the name of the datasheet print button (important to set the names before using the module)
6. Enables or disables display on the shopping cart page.
7. Enables or disables the display in the shopping cart.
8. Enables or disables display on the product page.
9. Enables or disables display for related products.
10. Enables or disables display on the category page.
11. Enables or disables display on the search page.
12. Enables or disables display on the catalog page.
13. Enables or disables display on the compare page.

14. Enables or disables display on the wishlist page.

15. Enables or disables display in the featured.

16. Enables or disables the display on the manufacturer page.

17. Enables or disables the display for main products.

18. Enables or disables the display for side products.
